Campaign Objectives

1.) Encourage more ‘locals’ to make ‘bite-sized’ visits, by promoting our brand strengths and benefits and highlighting what they can see and do on short visits, perhaps on their lunch break or after work.

2.) Create a campaign that promotes the Gallery’s brand and helps to bridge the brand gap between negative non-visitor perceptions and the actual experience.

Three keys in that sentence Actual experience, Non-visitor perceptions, The gallery’s brand how can we solve all these problems and promote the National Portrait Gallery in one single campaign.

Be inspired campaign theme

By offering inspiration and free admission this is a double edge sword and will attract people from the media and creative industry that would like the chance to relax in a peaceful environment on their lunch break or after work and draw inspiration at the same time. In order to get this message across I created a brand Identity on being inspired this in turn will draw the attention and present a recognisable theme to our target audience.
